I Got Lucky!

I went to Target yesterday to get some household essentials and to my surprise, the first thing that caught my eye was a PINK LEOPARD crossbody.  I darted to it and noticed the brand, Mulberry for Target!!!  I gasped!!!  Was it already October 10th?  I take my phone out and checked, wait a minute...um it's only the 2nd???  I guess my local Target store did a quiet soft release of the bags since as soon as I got home I checked online for more styles...and none!  So, I consider myself lucky because I later found out that not all Target stores had them.

I've been reading different blogs about the quality and style of the bags and a lot of people are not liking the "Mulberry for Target" saying on the bags, calling it "cheap-looking".  I personally don't mind...I mean Hello??? It was made for Target, what do you expect?  It's actually a contradiction in a way because I've heard sooo many women complain about how "designer" fashion is so expensive and that they're up to their necks in debt for trying to keep up.  And yet, when there's a chance to purchase something affordable with a high-end designer name, (even though it says, Target) it gets snubbed?  I'd rather own an authentic "Mulberry for Target" bag than an imposter Mulberry replica!!!  Thank you very much...oh yeah, AND I'd prefer to have the bag say, "Mulberry for Target" than Mulberry for WalMart" any day!!!!! (No offense to WalMart, of course)!

On my way to the airport...where I got a few compliments on my new bag!

Sincerely yours, Jaja B.
