Let Me Introduce Myself...
I'm 27 years old and during the day I work at a medical office doing billing...it's just a daytime job, a job that pays the bills...until I have my own handbag company!
I've always had a passion for handbags. It's the only fashion item I collect and sometimes splurge on. If I was wearing a dirty brown potato sack with a leather belt, and some Christian Louboutin black pumps, my handbag would definitely be in the spotlight...hmmm let me see, I'd carry the quilted nylon Chanel bag below. Wouldn't that totally make my outfit an instant classic???
Anyways, since graduating from college in 2006 with a Communications-Advertising degree, I was completely lost and didn't really know what to do with it. I've had 6 different jobs since then including my current occupation...let's just say I tried a lot of different fields; including: The Banking Industry (I'm glad I got out of that); Beauty Advisor (putting make-up on ridiculously rude people in a high end department store) **I did get to see my 1st grade teacher;** Commercial Real Estate Research (the most boring job I have ever had, I actually cried a few times in my cubicle,) Medical Billing (which is all right, for now, as long as the work environment is tolerable); and finally Account Exec for a Handbag Company. Being immersed and dropped into all those handbags was the highlight of my 2008 year. I started working as an AE for a handbag company in southern CA (Co. name withheld) in February 2008 and left that same year in October. Why??? I'm still not sure why I did, I mean it was a stepping stone to my dream...why didn't I stick it out? It's been almost two years and I still don't really know why I left; I have tons of excuses...but that's what they are, just excuses...
So, I decided to take matters into my own hands! I currently own and operate a small blog-style handbag boutique online: http://www.pinksatchel.com/. Maybe you have heard of it; if not, take the time to check it out...my motto is "you can never have too many handbags!" That's definitely what MyPinkSatchel is all about!
Till my next BagVenture...
